Description :
Manipal Universityprovides M.Phil in multiple specializations as a super specialty program, Ph.D. at doctoral level, and a Diploma program i.e D.Pharm. Ph.D program is offered in various specializations of Arts & Law, Design, Design, Science, and Management & Commerce. M.Phil is offered in Psychiatric Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, and Stem Cell & Regenerative Biology. Applicants with at least 55% marks in the last qualifying exam will be considered for admission to M.Phill. Selection will be on the basis of Departmental Test followed by Personal Interview. The eligibility of Ph.D program is at least 55% of marks, or equivalent CGPA at post graduate level and selection will be on the basis of a valid score in JRF/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET / GATE. Candidates applying for Manipal University D. Pharma should have at least 55% marks in 10+2 (PCB) and selection will be on merit basis of the last qualifying examination. Candidates seeking admissions to these courses can apply on different dates as per University notification. Candidates can apply for these programs through online mode for which they require a scan copy of photograph and signature. Payment for the application can be made through Net banking/Debit card/Credit card. Selection for these programs is made through an online entrance test conducted by the University. Selection for Ph.D. is made whenever the university has the research grants and needs research scholars. Application for Ph.D. is made throughout the year and is processed quarterly. Eligibility Criteria :
MSW (Social Work) from a recognized University, with minimum 55 % aggregate marks or equivalent in the qualifying examination. MA Psychology or MSc Psychology from a recognized University, with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent. Pass in MSc Nursing from Institution / University recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) with minimum 65 % aggregate marks or equivalent Pass in MSc (any branch of Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Regenerative Medicine / Clinical Embryology) / MPharm / MBBS / MVSc / MDS / MD or any other paramedical courses from a recognized Institution / University, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks or equivalent.

Application Process M.Phil/Ph.D in Pharmacy , M.Phil/Ph.D in Science & M.Phil/Ph.D in Paramedical Candidates can apply for the Ph.D, M.Phill and D. Pharma programs by visiting Manipal University website. There are two different sections for application, one is for the Indian admissions and another is for international admissions. Indian admissions are done for Indian nationals for whom the application fee is INR 600 and entrance test fee is INR 1400. International admissions are done for foreign national for whom the application fee is INR 2500.
